Like the photos she captured of our two year old daughter in Central Park, Andreea was likewise a warm, bright light full of joy, emotion, and authenticity. She didn't just snap photos of us; She created a story about a little girl exploring the natural world with a fresh perception. She understands how children interact with the world, and therefore was able to create an atmosphere that led to the best possible shots, even when my child had a mid-session meltdown! Andreea put her heart into her work, and perfectly captured little, special moments of our morning amidst the flowers. We had an incredibly difficult time narrowing down our photos to print because there were so many gorgeous ones. Everything about our experience working with Andreea, from before and after the photo shoot, exceeded our expectations.

The first thing you will find when you meet Andreea is that she is driven. She is passionate about her work and she is deeply invested in her clients. You will have to travel far before you find a photographer that involves herself so deeply in a photo session.
She isn't just interested in getting shots that are aesthetic and pretty (although they are!) Andreea also has the unique ability to draw emotion out of her photos. She will work hard to get the right shot, and gets visibly excited when she captures a good one! We also love Andreea's style. The photos are great quality and truly capture the spirit of the moment. She is a true professional and you will not be disappointed.

Working with Andreea was a lot of fun. She came to our home with lots of ideas and was really easy to talk to. Our kids loved her and were comfortable right away. We got the pictures back really fast and have had a hard time deciding which ones we like the best. There were so many to choose from and all of the pictures were really beautiful. I was really impressed by how quickly Andreea worked and how well she was able to capture my kids' personalities. I can't recommend her enough. It was a great experience.

I have had the pleasure of working with Andreea two times. First was during a beautiful headshot and portrait session she did of my 7 year-old daughter and next during a whimsical fantasy photo shoot in the snow! All of the images came out gorgeous and I couldn't even decide which shots of my daughter I loved the most! Aside from being a gifted artist with incredible creative vision, Andreea really went the extra mile to make sure that we were happy, comfortable and had lots of shots to choose from. We had an amazing newborn/family photo session with Andreea in June of 2014. I was really impressed with how professional,knowledgeable and creative she was, especially with how she was able to manipulate the lighting to get the best shot possible. She was also really good with my toddler son, which most photographers that we have used in the past, couldn't even get him to take his pacifier out. I still can't get over how well the pictures came out. I have recommended Andreea to lots of my friends because of the great experience, all of them have been equally as satisfied.

Andreea did a family session with us and she was absolutely wonderful to work with from beginning to end. She helped us figure out the best location to shoot and was super patient with us while we tried to figure out the best date and time. I’m a huge fan of natural light photography. Anything with an ethereal hazy glow makes me happy. Andreea captured that perfectly. She worked with the setting sun to get the most glorious lighting.
Andreea made us all feel so comfortable and I loved seeing her interact with my daughter. She completely captured all of the wonderful little facial expressions my daughter is known for, and that I live for. My dad said that one shot actually brought him to tears. Now that is a good photographer. She is very warm and great with kids. I was also really impressed with how fast she turned around the images. I would absolutely recommend Andreea to photograph any life milestone—engagement, wedding, birth of a child, birthday. She captures all of the natural, little moments of love—without anything feeling forced or posed.

Andreea’s mini-sessions are amazing! They are the perfect amount of time –long enough to get great shots and short enough that a toddler and husband don’t get bored!
The service overall was fantastic. From prep (she sends helpful suggestions on what to wear and bring) and day-of (she brought props and had great ideas) to post-session (amazingly quick service and gorgeous photos), everything about working with Andreea was fantastic.

My family and I had such a lovely experience with Andreea! From our initial consult to her hand delivered final product, there wasn't a step along the way where we weren't completely enamored of her personally and the work she was doing. I loved that nothing was staged and there were no props. We shot in Prospect Park and even though it was an unseasonably hot day, and I showed up with a tired 4 month old and a rambunctious 4 year old with her own vision for how the evening would go - Andreea managed to keep the whole crew engaged and interested as we chased the light with her through her favorite spots.
I had gone into the experience hoping for a couple good shots to frame and nothing more. In the end, we loved her work so much we bought a book as well and I am so very happy we did! Anyways - 5 stars, highly recommended, can't say enough about this incredible person and her work!

Andreea changed the way I think about family pictures. I will never go to a studio again because my experience with Andreea was fun and natural. We went to take pictures in prospect park and my daughter absolutely loved it. Andreea was great with her (4 years old) she even brought bread for my daughter to feed the ducks. From the initial consultation where Andreea told us what to expect, outfit suggestions, and just getting to know our daughter to make her comfortable on picture day to actual picture section for our album; Andreea was always thoughtful and professional. We will definitely do pictures again with her and she comes with my highest recommendation.

I have always wanted great shots of my family however it's usually me taking the shot and they were sub par at best. I saw the photos of families Andreea shot and after seeing the magic she captures, I knew it was an investment I needed to make. She is very knowledge about what looks good. She helped us in our decisions about the location, colors to wear, not to wear, etc. She has a wealth of knowledge about what areas to go to and the best time of day to maximize her magic. This allowed for a loose outline that allowed for us to be spontaneous as well. When we arrived on the day, there were no surprises and the process went very smoothly. She was amazing with our families, especially given some of them were emotional and excited on such a day. She was firm and in control without feeling bossy. She was always available for questions by email and phone and always called us back within 24 hours. I felt extremely confident in her organization and professionalism. Aside from all the technical qualities that Andreea possesses she is artistically talented. No doubt she has an eye for catching special moments.

I learned of Andreea from a Brooklyn parents group, where she came highly recommended. Our son was nearing his first birthday, and we were soon after moving out of state. I had been searching for a photographer to help us capture our memories of life in NY. I looked at the portfolios of many photographers, but I was truly struck by Andreea's work, and we scheduled an appointment with her. As we were moving out of Brooklyn, we wanted to capture the essence of Brooklyn and tie that in with my son's 1st Birthday. Andreea did that...and so much more. Her eye for capturing "just that right moment" in beautiful natural lighting is spot on. I do not normally feel comfortable in front of a lens and dislike my photo being taken (my husband is the same way) but for whatever reason, we felt so natural and at ease with her. She took so many stunning pictures, the hardest part was choosing the final images for printing. This is a significant investment, but we will cherish these images forever. We are so grateful to have met Andreea...if we could have only taken her with us when we moved!
