We've been having a long Indian Summer here in New York, and though it's late autumn, the splendor of fall is just starting to show itself in the mellow October light. Meanwhile, the splendor of Lisa's luminous glow and gorgeous pregnant figure are on full show. A splendid time for a natural light Brooklyn maternity photo session, indeed!

After having had a short indoor stylized maternity photo session together a few weeks back, we decided to have another portrait session together, this time one naturally captured in amidst the glory of nature bursting with color. The Brooklyn Botanical gardens, a year round favorite, set the backdrop of our stunning captures.

The Japanese Gardens were wonderfully quiet and tranquil in the early morning light. We owned the place, at least for this brief yet long enough moment to capture this stunner.

As we walked about in search of golden leaves, we stumbled instead on this small tree grove, where golden light poured in. A wishbone-shaped tree beckoned to frame her beauty and her belly.

And as we walked about some more, this alcove with low-bowing branches framed in her from above and all around.

Something about her knowing stare and coy smile hinted of the Mona Lisa.

But this Lisa is most fiercely beautiful and outright fierce in her own right. About to become mother to a third boy might have something to do with that....
